The cycle

In 2015  the red color was occupying not only media screens but also artists' canvases.  art at the time of conflict become a violent act itself.

During Hijazi's study in Städelschule art academy, when she was surrounded by news from Syria, a dinner of art collectors at the school turned into a ceremony of torture against a painting, using tools that she bought from an army accessories shop in Frankfurt am Main ’Where the European central bank is located.

The torture ceremony against a painting by art collectors raises more questions! The painting becomes a sacrifice not only for a military regime but also for the market of the art industry.
